David Frayne
The Very Rev David Frayne , MA was an eminent Anglican priest in the late 20th and earliest 21st centuries.[1]
He was educated at Reigate Grammar School and St Edmund Hall, Oxford and ordained in 1961.[2] He was Curate at St Michael, East Wickham and then Priest in charge of St Barnabas, Downham.[3] He held incumbencies at North Sheen, Caterham, Redcliffe, Bristol [4] and Bedminster before he was he was appointed Provost of Blackburn in 1992. He retired in 2001 as Dean[5] following the reclassification of all Provosts as such the preceding year.
